the pull between ....

in Embodiment Workshop

Within Peter's embodiment practice sessions I am not in any pull between sensation and thought. they co-exist. well...this is something I have practiced over decades.

Also that kind of detailed somatic work is a reinforcement, every time, that I do not need to know what will happen next... that next will happen.

As leader: to be now while considering what next, and relating all to what we've just done is the necessary skill- "sensing" now, thought of before and future-...when there is this added aspect of tech interfaces, the pull is not so much between "sensing and thought", as it is between practicing/thinking dance and the delivery of this work through this platform. I am always asking myself if that's because this also needs practice...and if decades of practice are needed are needed as was needed for the "sensation and thought"? leading me to "Yikes what happens between now and the then?" (for facilitator, art maker, art receiver).
